Brightling Park offers three events spaces:
1. Brightling Park House Lawns
Brightling Park House is situated at one of the highest points in East Sussex so delivers incredible views over the parkland, towards the sea and towards the South Downs. The House sits at the heart of Brightling village and is adjoining to the church, perfect for weddings.
2. The Saw Mill Pond
The Saw Mill Pond is secluded, stunning, magical. On its South facing side, a small area of woodland surrounds the pond and out towards the North facing side is a sloping field where the sheep graze quietly- your events space truly is a private one. The space is a newly cleared large expansion of green grass, perfect for a marquee, Yurt or Tepee. Sitting a top the pond are various groupings of water lilies for which over the summer months can be seen in full flower.
3. The Walled Garden
Hidden in the woods below the house, The Walled Gardens are a hidden gem. Surrounded by ancient ten foot walls with arched entrances on each side, you enter a hidden world of surprising proportions and exquisite privacy. The potting sheds at the eastern end of the garden give on to landscape of forestry, ponds and streams.
Usher Lunch, bridal changing and accommodation
The Shoot shed provides a perfect space to host an Ushers lunch or a post wedding BBQ the following day, you might even want to have a Cricket Match on the pitch which sits next to it.
